![]() Thankyou for your time and I look forward to a reply. And please correct me if I am wrong, but I understand that this Anti Exploit Program does not scan like the MBAM Premium.īTW, I traced the Inbound Trojan that was quarantined to a Europe addy Sometimes a known exploit is referred to as an n-day exploit, indicating one or more. Once an exploit becomes public knowledge, it is no longer a zero-day. Would this be ok and a reasonable proposition. Actually, a zero-day exploit, also known as a zero-hour exploit, is a software vulnerability no one but the cybercriminal who created it knows about and for which there is no available fix. I am now planning to get also the 3 key version of Anti Exploit and install it with the other 2 programs. So far that is the only program that appeared to be affected. I fiddled around not having tech experience and clicked on the actual program and got my Outlook open and replaced my shortuct for it. It was our local mail delivery site!?īefore the baddies got the unwelcome mat from MBAM they managed to eat up my shortcut on my Toolbar for Outlook. I was browsing a site on the internet when this occurred. Yesterday I had 2 trojans try to gain access to my laptop and they were quarantined MBAM and I rid of them. (Additional information may be needed - especially to troubleshoot MBAM updating issues - but these MBAE logs and FRST logs will be enough to start. ![]() Please post back NOT ONLY with the requested MBAE logs (as zip file(s)), BUT ALSO with both logs from FRST (FRST.txt and Addition.txt). ![]() I suggest following the advice HERE, including step #5. However, since you are having the same issue with MBAM, too, it might be more helpful for starters to collect some basic diagnostic information. Normally, the first step would be a reinstall of MBAE, either on top of your existing build or by following the steps outlined HERE (they work for other versions, not just Win10). I suspect something on your system may be blocking the program from contacting the update servers. I do not know why you have not received the latest version, as it has been available for quite a while. Thanks for the update and for the screen caps. Endpoint Detection & Response for Servers ![]()
